The US Secretary of State is going to Belgium to attend the NATO summit

“At the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Summit, Blinken will have the opportunity to reaffirm NATO’s key role in maintaining transatlantic security, including our joint efforts to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable and to promote a speedy end to a meaningless and destructive electoral war,” the State Department said in a statement. He stressed against Ukraine.

According to the statement, the US Secretary of State will discuss the continuation of Washington’s efforts to support Ukraine.

Blinken will also attend the G7 Secretary of State meeting and hold further talks with other US allies and partners.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klein said there was still a long way to go before the end of the war in Ukraine.

“I think the Ukrainians are winning the war around Kiev and in the northern part of the country,” he told ABC News on Sunday. This is an extraordinary achievement for them in their battle and the support of the United States and NATO allies for Ukraine.

“We send weapons to Ukraine almost every day,” he said.

The US Secretary of State also told CNN that the United States and NATO are providing the weapons that Ukraine needs, and that soon there will be 10 anti-tank weapons in Ukraine for each Russian tank.

CNN quoted US officials as saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin was focusing on May 9 as Victory Day in Ukraine.

According to several informed US officials, Russia has changed its war strategy in Ukraine and is focused on controlling the Donbas region and other areas in eastern Ukraine until early May.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 21 (March 2, 1400) recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbas region, criticizing the West’s indifference to Moscow’s security concerns.

Three days later, on Thursday, March 26, Putin launched a so-called “special operation” against Ukraine, turning tense Moscow-Kiev relations into a military confrontation. Conflicts in Ukraine and reactions to Russia’s action continue.

The war in Ukraine has now entered its second month, and while the President of the Republic of Ukraine announces the death of 16,000 Russian troops, the Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that only 1351 people have been killed so far.

According to the United Nations, more than 3.7 million Ukrainians have been displaced and more than 1,080 civilians have been killed in the war.
