US senators call for accountability for Al Jazeera reporter’s testimony

According to IRNA, Mitt Romney, a prominent senator from the Republican Party, and John Asaf, a Democratic senator from the United States, wrote in the letter that Washington should hold accountable the perpetrator of Abu Aqla’s martyrdom, which according to the investigation was announced by the Zionist regime.

In the letter, which was published on the official website of ASAF, the two US senators expressed their deep sorrow over the testimony of the journalist who was shot dead on May 11, while preparing a report near the city of Jenin in the West Bank.

The two US senators called on the State Department to ensure a thorough and thorough investigation into the case. The two also called the killing of a journalist while reporting in the conflict zone unacceptable.

In the letter, Romney and Asaf stressed the need for justice for the martyrdom of an Al Jazeera female journalist and called for a detailed update on the progress of the case within the next 30 days.

The results of the official investigation of the Palestinian Authority on 5 June show that an Israeli soldier martyred an Al-Jazeera reporter in a war crime.

After the martyrdom of Abu Aqla, many countries in the world officially condemned this act of the Zionist regime and called it a war crime.
