It was a few months ago that Valve, the owner of the famous Steam store, unveiled its portable console called Steam Deck without any previous news. This console is a direct competitor to Nintendo Switch; Since yesterday (February 26 – March 27) has found its way to the global market. Of course, the priority is to send this product to those who have pre-purchased the Steam Deck.

After the official launch of Steam Deck, Valve CEO Gabe Newell spoke about the company’s plans for future generations of Steam Deck. In his latest interview with IGN, Gabe Neville said that new models of this portable console will hit the market by next year, and that AMD promises us that the new chipsets will have more hardware power, which will help New generations of Steam Deck and high-end models of this console can play new games with more quality and frame rate.

Apparently, in addition to promising to increase the power of the new chipsets, Ayamidi has promised to produce more of these chipsets, which will probably reduce the cost of future generations of Steam Deck.

Along with Gabe Newell, the Steam Deck team says it is working hard to bring the next generation of the console to market with a larger battery; Of course, according to the development team, this larger battery will not make this console bigger in any way, because this console is already much bigger than its rival.

Currently, the Steam Deck is equipped with a 40-watt-hour battery with a capacity of 5313 mAh, which, depending on the game and its setting, can keep the Steam Deck on for 2 to 8 hours on a single charge. Of course, many users who have had early access to this console have said that if they run heavy games with the highest graphics settings and maximum brightness, the Steam Deck battery will be discharged in less than 2 hours.
