According to Tejarat News, according to the warning of the government penitentiary organization, the fine for the violating landlords is five times the excess amount of the oversold.

Mohammad Ali Esfanani in conversation with Mehr Reporter Regarding dealing with violations in the field of mortgage and rental housing and dealing with this issue, he said: “Until now, dealing with such violations and that we have a basis for dealing with punishments, there was no basis.”

He added: “What is going to happen is a very good thing and those who force tenants to pay exorbitant prices will be dealt with.”

The spokesman for the Tazirat Organization continued: “Any amount agreed upon by the parties last year is a basis for increasing the price, so that the increase in this basis is 25% in Tehran and 20% in other metropolises.” This rate has also been announced at 15% in other cities.

What is the fine for violating landlords?

Esfanani stated that if the landlords conclude a contract with more than this amount, he has violated: “If someone concludes a contract with more than this amount, he has sold it expensively, and if he concludes a figure of more than 25%, it is considered the excess amount of overselling.”

Regarding the imposition of fines on violating landlords, he said: “High prices also have specific fines, and if the final approval and the implementation process of the decision to increase the powers of penalties is completed, the fines will be increased fivefold.”

Esfanani further said regarding the cases related to the overselling of basic goods: “According to several reports, we had both seals and violations of overselling in this regard.”

He added: “In addition to this violation, there was also a reported non-supply that some manufacturing companies produced goods but did not supply.”

In some cases, we cheated by mixing domestic rice with foreign rice.
