According to the Mehr correspondent, Rahmatollah Norouzi said in a public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly today (Sunday, December 28) during the constitutional warning: But Ali Nikzad said the government wants to withdraw the bill.

He said: “We also told Yousef Nouri that there should be no teacher ranking bill today and tomorrow, and educators expect the parliament and the government to make this issue operational.”

In response to this warning, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said: “Since the government has submitted a bill in this regard, the Parliamentary Education Commission can not approve a matter contrary to Article 75 of the Constitution.” The parliament agrees on the ranking of teachers and we have received the opinion of the government on this issue.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly noted: The Chairman of the Program and Budget Organization in the Assembly said: the credit required to implement the teacher ranking bill is 25,000 billion tomans and therefore the Education Commission can not have a resolution that has more financial burden for the government. We are obliged to act on the basis of the credit provided by the government, but the commission has not done so yet.

Qalibaf stressed: “The opinion of the Court of Accounts, the Parliamentary Research Center and the government is that no more financial burden should be imposed on the government than what the government has announced about the ranking of teachers.”

He emphasized: Teachers should know that whenever this law is approved, it will include teachers from September 22 this year, and for the second half of this year, its credit will be 12 thousand and 500 billion tomans. From the beginning of 1401, 25 thousand billion tomans of credit will be considered for the implementation of the teacher ranking bill.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly noted: “Unfortunately, in cyberspace and the media, some people talk about the teacher ranking bill, but teachers should not pay attention to this issue because the government and parliament are teachers’ advocates.”
