We are looking to get the dollar out of the economy

Fatemi Amin said: “We do not have a technical and technological problem in the country and no one can claim that he can not do the job and we are seriously looking to eliminate the dollar price.”

According to the Industry, Trade and Agriculture Reporter of the Economic Group of the Young Journalists Club, Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, said at a meeting of the Iranian Chamber of Deputies: “A discussion has begun about domestic construction.” Let’s not use the word export anymore, let’s say international trade, which is a bigger word.

Fatemi Amin explained: What is wrong with having a business plan in other markets and developing it. To do this, we need to do something that we need to set up the infrastructure, for example, have a business advisor program.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: “There is also the issue of financing, which is wrong to pay the resources of the National Development Fund to invest in Iran. The best use of foreign buyer credit is to finance foreigners to buy goods from Iran.”

The official explained: “Investing in Iran creates a currency commitment, deals with the rise of the dollar, which ultimately creates a challenge; Most of the goods we export can be produced; We have to build the infrastructure that has been done for the last 2 weeks.

Referring to the issue of financing, Minister Samat said: “It is wrong to use the resources of the National Development Fund for investment in Iran.” Best use of fund resources for foreign financing and buyer credit to foreigners. If we had implemented this policy before, we would not have had problems now. Ten years ago, when the dollar rate was 3,000 tomans, the fund’s resources were spent on exports, which, according to the individual, were exports. Due to the fact that the dollar rate jumped significantly from three thousand tomans, a challenge was created due to the lack of timely implementation of export plans.

“Next year we should not have a foreign exchange commitment, we were sanctioned and most of it was for oil revenues and foreign exchange consumption remained in place and the whole system collapsed and became complicated,” he said. We hope that next year we will no longer have a foreign exchange commitment, we have enough foreign exchange earnings to meet the foreign exchange needs and solve the problems.

We do not have a technical and technological problem in the country

Fatemi Amin explained: Another issue is the stability of the market, we do not have a technical and technological problem in the country, no one can claim that he can not do the work, I am sure we do not have a problem with financing. The table of resources and consumption has shown that we can achieve production growth.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: “One of the ideas is to get the economy out of the dollar; For example, we import 30% of car parts, but 40% of the car price of domestically produced products follow the dollar exchange rate, so we notice a price increase.

“We are desperately looking to eliminate the dollar price that happened with steel,” he said.

12-month supply of steel and petrochemicals in the next 2 weeks

“We will have a 12-month supply of steel and petrochemicals in the next two weeks,” he said. If we start the 12-month supply, each contractor understands what the price of the goods will be in the next 2 months, and that means anticipating; Or the discussion of eliminating quotas created by rents.

Shafei, stating that the quota will be eliminated, clarified: the price of ingots in the market is 13 thousand tomans, which if it were to be priced in dollars, would reach over 18 thousand tomans. In general, the prices of products should be determined by the economic reality of Iran and not by the dollar rate.

Minister Samat continued: “We have a deficit in the production of some products, which will be compensated through imports.” However, these products must also be relatively in line with domestic prices, which will be done with consolidated offerings.

Fatemi Amin explained: e-government and the part related to industry, trade will be organized by the end of the year. By the end of this year, we will have a roadmap for industry, mining and trade for all cities, in which we will specify which projects need to be invested.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: “Our task is to reach a place where economic actors do not worry except about marketing.” Next year we have to go to where we were in 1997, that is, we have to go back to before the sanctions.

Fatemi Amin, stating that we have targeted a 12% growth in the industry and mining sector next year, said: “In fact, it is possible by using domestic capacities and it is the same industrial growth of 1997.”

Fatemi Amin, referring to the communiqué issued by the government’s economic coordination headquarters, reminded: “This communiqué was very effective in fulfilling foreign exchange obligations, and God willing, we will not have any foreign exchange commitments from next year, in which the presence and cooperation of the private sector is crucial.”

The Minister continued: We had designed a 3-month plan to organize and reform the structure of the basic market; It has petrochemicals, steel, copper, ore, iron ore, and so on, and we hope to be able to separate metals and minerals in two years when the project is completed.
He continued: This means that these products should be priced at Iranian prices and not at foreign prices; We attach special importance to exports and we have seen a higher horizon, which is international trade, of which exports are a component, and we will pursue it in a broader sense.
Fatemi Amin said: “We will not have a foreign exchange obligation next year and it is conditional on exports.” We have announced the resolutions that will expand the problem today.
Regarding the car market, he said: “We plan to increase car production. This year, 100,000 units will be produced more than planned, and next year, 1,600,000 cars will be produced, in other words, supply and demand will be balanced.” will be.

The official said: “The car issue is one of the priorities and good work will be done about it.”

“There are two types of price increases that we will deal with,” he said. If we reach this conclusion, we will definitely correct the increase in the price of the non-observed criteria.

We will not discuss car lottery next year!

Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Fatemi Amin told reporters in response to a question from a reporter of the Young Journalists Club about the upcoming programs in the car market: “We plan not to discuss the car lottery next year.”
