Hassan Kazemi Qomi also referred to the action of the President Ayatollah Raisi in appointing the Special Representative of Afghanistan and spoke from the strategic point of view of the 13th government on the issue of Afghanistan and using all regional and international capacities to establish stability and security in Afghanistan and He outlined the inclusive government in the country and plans to implement a comprehensive roadmap for Afghanistan.

According to Fars, President Ayatollah Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi on Sunday last week at a cabinet meeting appointed Hassan Kazemi Qomi as the Special Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan.

In a statement on Afghanistan, Ayatollah Ra’isi said: “The Islamic Republic of Iran considers itself on the side of Afghanistan and is ready to provide full assistance and cooperation to create lasting stability and security for the people of Afghanistan.”

Hassan Kazemi Qomi previously headed the Iranian embassy in Baghdad and also the Iranian consulate general in Herat.

Mohammad Ibrahim Taherian Fard was previously the Special Representative of the Secretary of State for Afghanistan.

According to Fars, during Saeed Khatibzadeh’s weekly meeting with reporters on October 17, a reporter asked Khatibzadeh about the appointment of Hassan Kazemi Qomi as the president’s special envoy for Afghanistan and the situation of Taherian Fard, the special envoy of the foreign minister for Afghanistan.
