In the 12 months ending January 2017, the average housing price in Tehran has increased by 3.1 percent per month.

The report also states that areas 1, 3, 2, 6, 5 and 4 are areas where the average housing price has been higher than the average in Tehran, respectively.

The highest average growth of housing prices in January 2009 compared to the same month of the previous year belonged to region 16 by 68% and the lowest growth rate occurred in region 1 by 31%.

On the other hand, the study of the average housing price based on different areas of residential units shows that prices in January of this year have increased in all periods and residential units with an area of ​​less than 40 square meters have the highest price growth of 51.6% and Units with an area of ​​160 to 180 square meters have experienced the lowest price growth of 26.2 percent compared to the same month last year.

It should be noted that in January 2017, the total number of housing transactions in Tehran reached 10.9 thousand units, which compared to the previous month has increased by 12.4% compared to the same month last year by 58.2%.

Also, the average price of housing in Tehran in January of this year was 13.8 million tomans per square meter, which has increased by 3% compared to the previous month and 42% compared to the same month last year.
