Xiaomi unveils Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro with 144Hz display
Xiaomi unveiled the new version of the Black Shark 4 as promised today. These smartphones are Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro They have a name, Equipped with different chips, but have the same display and support a 720Hz touch sampling rate.
Xiaomi has used the Snapdragon 870 chip in the Black Shark 4S, and in the Pro model, it has gone for Qualcomm’s latest chip, the Snapdragon 888 Plus. In the Black Shark 4 Pro model, we saw the use of the Snapdragon 888 chip.
Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro are equipped with a 6.67-inch display of Samsung E4, which has a full HD Plus resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720 Hz. This panel has two pressure sensitive areas and in the upper center there is a hole for hosting a selfie camera. The maximum screen brightness of these devices reaches 1300 nits, supports DC Dimming and MEMC capabilities, and also has a mode to protect the eyes of users.
Xiaomi has used LPDDR5 RAM for these products, although the speed of this module is 5500 Mbps in the standard model and 6400 Mbps in the Pro model. Both are equipped with UFS 3.1 internal storage, but the Pro supports SSD Disk Arrray.
On the back panel of the Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro, there is a triple main camera with a horizontal layout, the main sensor of which is the standard 48-megapixel model and the 64-megapixel Pro model. Both are equipped with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree viewing angle and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera of these products is 20 megapixels.
In terms of communication with the 5G network, we are faced with dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the frame, RGB lighting, stereo speakers and a barometer.
Finally, we are faced with a 4500 mAh battery with support for 120 watt fast charging and MIUI-based JOYUI 12.8 user interface.
The price of Black Shark 4S, which is available in black, white and Gundam Limited Editon, is as follows:

The pre-sale of these devices has already started in China and will enter the market in two days. These products are expected to be offered in the international market at different prices.
