This cinema expert said: A person may be a good cinematographer, actor, director and have expertise in his field of work, but he may not be a good teacher. Because the discussion of a teacher is different, and for this reason, you cannot choose a director from behind the camera to teach, because he may not be familiar with the teaching framework, and as a result, he may not be able to plan the class and communicate with the children, and for this reason In such a situation, students and schools face problems.

Orang clarified: Many schools think that if they choose a famous person as a teacher because of his name and reputation, the number of students may increase in one or two semesters, but because that teacher cannot teach properly. Both himself and the students are harmed, and as a result, there is a drop in academics and the number of students decreases. On the other hand, there are professors who have studied and worked in cinematography and know how to be a teacher and are successful.

Orang continued: People who are successful in one of the film skills, but do not know a teacher, can attend film schools as people who transfer their experiences. For example, the; Fred is a good actor and can transfer experience in two classes during the semester, but if he does not have the ability to teach, he cannot be chosen as a school teacher. Because he can’t handle it.

This film critic added: Now, in most film schools, people who only have fame are invited, and some of them don’t even come to class; So that many participants say that they registered in the class because of that teacher’s name, but that teacher is filming and the school puts another person in his place. This means that many of these schools cheat and destroy the confidence of the registered students.

Orang, referring to the academic literacy and experience of school professors, said: In cinema, there are two groups of instructors who, according to the existing regulations, either have a master’s degree or higher, or they are experts in this field and have high experience. For example, the; A person who has been in the laboratory since he was young and has spent his life there can teach better than someone who has studied cinema from books. But if the combination of these two things, i.e. academic education and experience, is with each other and that person has the ability to teach, it is very effective, because currently, there are few people who have both characteristics.

This cinema expert said: Many friends who are active in the laboratory field, although they don’t have an academic degree in this field, they have seen training courses in foreign countries and know everything about the work. Therefore, such people can teach this work or, for example, a person who has filmed and can teach this art field, it is relevant both in work and in education, but such people are few. Because the conditions are such that there are a number of people in the field of cinema who have learned it from books. That is, they tell the history of cinema, but they haven’t seen the movie they are studying about, and in fact, they have memorized the book, so such people cannot be good teachers.

According to him, although studying is very helpful in the field of cinema, but if a person has not seen the film, he naturally has nothing to say, and this shows that the combination of study and experience is good, and unfortunately, at present, this combination does not exist. or very little. Because it is a series of questions that experienced people can answer; Those who have been behind the camera or in the laboratory, or who have written scripts and reviewed them for years. Because these people can teach the dimensions of the work, while a series of teachers only teach from the book, and this is not useful at all. Because children have already studied or can do so and come to class to learn everything.

Orang continued: At one time, there were people who were interested in this type of work and really wanted to serve, but unfortunately, now the number of these people is less than the number of fingers. Because at that time, money was not the first criterion for cinema education, and on the contrary, proper education and education of the new generation to cinema was very important. But currently, the criterion of most directors of film schools is money, and the atmosphere of schools has become student-centered, and many of these people say that they do not care who comes to class and who teaches, while everything has principles. For example, no matter how familiar I am with theater, I cannot teach this field, and on the other hand, someone who has studied theater cannot teach cinema. Because he has no knowledge of cinema. But even our acting in university is more towards theater and not cinema.

This film critic added: Now, there are lecturers who have not seen the works of the world’s great cinematographers, and when they want to teach about this, their students are unhappy. Because these teachers cannot teach them, and one of the other problems is that in many schools, directors teach acting in front of the camera, while a good director should do his own work.

He stated: Although a good education manager is a person who supervises the entire education, many education managers do not attend schools and maybe visit and leave for a week, and they do not care what happens and it only matters to them that How many students have enrolled and how much money have they earned?

Orang said: In art universities, especially cinematography, for professors and students, the input is important and the output is not important. It is important which people study in schools and universities and who teach, and although abroad, if an efficient and expert person leaves a class, it is important. But in the schools here, the entrance is free and anyone who wants can register and the teacher is also selected and there are many exits.

This cinema expert continued: People can have a workshop to transfer experience, not to be selected as lecturers, and the experience of theater and cinema elders should not be allowed to be lost, and this is very important. Not to take anyone’s hand and bring him to teach. You may not believe that a person with a master’s degree in theater was given a course in the basics of filming, editing, and special effects. Because many people think that it is a book and we read and teach from the book, and in the meantime, they answer the student’s question in such a way that they either let me finish teaching and then ask questions or they continue the lesson as a joke.

He added: In applied science universities, which were supposed to be practical, it is based on degree orientation, and in fact, people teach who are not for that field, and when there is a protest about this issue, they say that the director is a certain film or has a plan somewhere. Or that he is a famous actor and this issue continues; So that when such lecturers come to transfer experience, they do not have enough information and cause the discredit of that educational institution. Therefore, entrance is very important for both student and professor admission.
