“it.” They sell for millions of dollars
Mechanical model of “E.T.” which was used in the making of a film directed by Steven Spielberg will be offered at an auction with an estimated value of several million dollars.
Charso Press: The movie that “Steven Spielberg” made in 1982 told the story of an extraterrestrial being returning to his home, and now fans can take home the version that was used in the making of this movie by paying about 3 million dollars.
The original version of “E.T.” which was used in the movie of the same name, will be sold as one of the works offered in the auction “Iconic Objects and Sculptures: The Hollywood Auction”. This auction coincides with the 40th anniversary of this work.
Hailed as an engineering masterpiece, this mechanical model was originally created by Italian special effects designer Carlo Ramelbaldi, and experts predict that the object will sell for $3 million.
In this auction, other objects from famous movies will be sold, including the collection of objects related to “Harry Potter” movies. The total value of these objects is expected to reach hundreds of thousands of dollars. For example, a Nimbus 2000 Broom that was used in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone may sell for up to $100,000.
A Gryffindor coat and a yellow and red Gryffindor shawl designed for Harry Potter are estimated at $20,000 to $30,000.
This auction will be held on December 17th and 18th in Beverly Hills.
