Also, last night, Bahram Radan, in a ceremony that he had organized under the pretext of the release of this film, announced that the release of this film would not start from the 10th of December.
However, the public relations of the Cinema Organization, quoting the director general of the Office for the Supervision of Film Release and Screening, wrote: The delay in screening the films is due to the decision of the Screening Guild Council, and no film has been banned.
Regarding the postponement of the screening of the films this week, Mohammad Reza Faraji denied the news that the films were banned; Following the reviews made by the Screening Guild Council for the films that were screened at the time of release, and at the request of the distributor of “Black Cat”, the release of this film was delayed for two weeks and other films for a week.
Mohammad Reza Faraji continued: “Fortunately, the screening of films in recent weeks has led to a resurgence of the country’s cinemas, and the Screening Guild Council, in order to support other films being screened, has decided to postpone the screening of new films.”
He added: “No film announced by the Screening Guild Council has been banned, only due to the request of the film owners and the discretion of the Screening Guild Council, their screening has been delayed.”
