According to Fars News Agency’s social correspondent, Tehran Governor Mohsen Mansouri said: “According to the decision of the Air Pollution Emergency Committee, offices, schools and universities in Tehran province will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, but the banks will not be closed and will continue their activities.”
Regarding the delay in announcing the holidays, he said: “The principle is to pay attention to people’s health.” We apologize to some people for having problems following the late announcement of the holidays.
The governor of Tehran continued: The devices’ forecast of air pollution for tomorrow is that the concentration of pollution will be much lower than today, but the air will still be very unhealthy. Therefore, on Wednesday, all schools, universities and offices in Tehran province will be closed.
In response to a question about the closure of banks in Tehran province, Mansouri noted: Of course, the closure of banks due to their service is not logical. However, it is suggested that the presence of employees in the banks be reduced and that managers pay attention to this issue as well.
He also explained about the closure in Alborz province: the conditions of this province are the same as in Tehran province, and tomorrow, Wednesday, the offices, schools and universities of this province will be closed.
The governor of Tehran said: the final exams of the students will be held and the internal exams will not be held.
