According to Fars News Agency, the inauguration ceremony of 3 projects of the national radio and television signaling network in all parts of the country, exchange of contracts for the project of developing and upgrading the transmission network to a capacity of 20 terabits per second using domestic production capacity and international transit capacity to turn Iran into a transit transit. In the region, on Wednesday, March 25, 2014, in the presence of the head of the national media, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the Deputy Minister of Development and Media Technology of the Radio and Television, was held in the building of the Ministry of Communications.
The head of the national media said in this ceremony, congratulating Eid al-Fitr: “On the eve of the resurrection of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the day of the engineer, we will take this ritual and event as a good omen and consider it in line with the mission of messaging.”
Peyman Jebli added: “The philosophy of the mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is to send a message and mediate between God and the people. We are also proud that our role model is on the path of communication and information.”
Jebli thanked those who have been with the Radio and Television and the Ministry of Communications and Technology since the beginning of the project, saying: “This project worked for justice so that all citizens could benefit from this technology.”
It is a national honor for all citizens to enjoy the blessings of radio and television, and the national media is an intermediary between the system, the people and society.
Emphasizing the need to serve the people, he said: “Demanding the right of the people to enjoy the blessings of the holy Islamic system and its achievements.” The national media, as the largest cultural institution, is proud to remind the dear people of what happened after the victory of the revolution. Honors that our people and children do not know and should be informed.
The head of the Radio and Television Organization continued: “This project is in line with the justice system of the Islamic Republic, which, God willing, will continue.” In the past, it was not possible to be productive in remote areas, and only provincial and large city centers were able to do this.
He added: “It is a great blessing to have the signal and image of the national media, which is not only a cause of people’s satisfaction, but also a clear example and the most important reason for the neutralization and ineffectiveness of sanctions.” With the inauguration of this project, we have shown that even if all satellites are banned, high-quality terrestrial signal transmission will continue in more than 80% of Iran, and today we see this public satisfaction and we hope that the rest will be achieved. .
The head of the Radio and Television Organization said: “Our colleagues consider themselves obliged to provide signals for villages with less than 20 households and difficult areas.” In addition to signal security, this is an example of national self-confidence, and zero to one hundred of it has been achieved with internal power and knowledge. We are indebted to the people and their debtors, and everything we did was a duty and should be done more.
“Issa Zarehpour”, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said at the inauguration ceremony of the national radio signal network to all parts of the country: “Today, conditions were created for us to serve the people on the basis of an independent network in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Referring to the importance of this plan, he said: “This is a very big job and this big plan showed that inter-device work can be done well.” Every effort is made for our dear people to be able to use quality communication in the country and the atmosphere of spreading the message. In the 13th government, we seek to develop a quality and high-speed network throughout the country.
The Minister of Communications added: “We promised the people that in the thirteenth government, we will provide conditions for anyone who needed to connect via fiber optics, and this is a great task that can be done with the determination and will of a large family of communications in the country.” And the government is willing to provide opportunities alongside the private sector.
Zarehpour said: “Today, the contract for the development of the infrastructure network has been signed, and the important point is that for the first time, this volume of capacity will be added to the national network by using completely local equipment.”
Hopefully, we will see a day when we will be able to activate the God-given capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and become a transit hub for traffic in the region.
In the continuation of this ceremony, “Reza Alidadi”, Deputy Minister of Media Development and Technology, noting that the project cost the national media $ 42 million, said: It is easy.
Referring to the support of various agencies in this project, the Deputy Minister of Development and Media Technology said: “In the infrastructure transfer sector, various companies and ministries such as the Ministry of Oil, Railway Company and Passive Defense Organization were with us and this project is the product of convergence and cooperation of all relevant agencies.”
He added: “Our studies show that even countries such as Norway, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Germany and Austria have used the same fiber optic method for radio and television signaling, and they do not rely on satellite signals.”
Alidadi, referring to the sanctions that prevent the receipt of some sports programs and cut off the image of football broadcasting from satellite signals in different parts of the country, said: Generates satellite signals.
He asked the Ministry of Communications to continue coordination meetings between the two organizations after the operation of this project to ensure the stability of signal delivery.
Hamid Fattahi, Deputy Minister and Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Infrastructure Communications Company, also presented a report on the dimensions and importance of this project.
He further said: The opening of the national radio signal network to all parts of the country based on the Supreme Leader’s emphasis on maintaining the independence of the broadcaster from foreign satellites, especially with the increase of sanctions in 1392 to benefit people, especially in areas deprived of network coverage. Referring to the exchange of contracts for the project to develop and upgrade the stability of the country’s transmission network to a capacity of 20 terabits using internal power, he stressed: Communication is on the agenda according to the policies and plans of the Ministry of Communications to achieve the goal of transferring 20 million fiber optic ports, and with the launch of this project, we will see a serious change in the development of the country’s communication infrastructure.
Regarding the roadmap for increasing data transit traffic, Fattahi also stressed that this project was put on the agenda in order to become a transit point for international traffic transit, considering the geographical capacity of our country.
In conclusion, he said: “In this project, we will see the realization of three important steps, including the formulation and approval of service level agreements, the unveiling of new and diverse methods of customer sales, and the redesign and improvement of the quality of the international transit transmission network.”
At the end of the ceremony, the efforts of 13 colleagues of the Infrastructure Communications Company and the Radio and Television Organization were appreciated.
The second phase of the ground signalization project to television stations has been carried out in line with media justice and the expansion of digital coverage, during which our dear compatriots in deprived areas can also benefit from high-quality images as well as the organization’s digital networks.
