Park Chan-wook made a movie with his mobile phone

The famous Korean director made the fantasy film “Nothing is more than a dream” with his mobile phone.

Theater News Base: Apple has made a feature film using Park Chan-wook, one of South Korea’s most successful and acclaimed directors, using its latest iPhone.

“Life is More Than a Dream” is the first project in Apple’s “iPhone Filmed” marketing campaign. This project was filmed and edited entirely in Korea.

The film combines 21 minutes of martial arts with romantic themes, dark comedy and censorship (the technique of traditional Korean musical storytelling) to tell a surreal story about a wedding and a funeral.

Park already has filming experience with the iPhone. In 2011, he made a short film called “Fishing at Night” with the iPhone 4, which won the Golden Bear Award for Short Film at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.

“Life is More Than a Dream” was filmed using the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The development team used a range of the latest features of these phones, including cinematic mode, macro video, night video mode, widescreen camera, telephoto camera and optical image stabilization.

The film also features original music by Jang Yong-joo. The movie can be viewed on TV, digital and social media, as well as on Apple’s website and streaming apps.
