Performance of Darvish Khan’s works in Arsbaran Cultural Center

According to Fars news agency, “Darvishane” is the title of a concert of Darvish Khan’s works, which will be held on Friday, July 24, 1401, at 19:00 at Arsbaran Cultural Center, with Amir Sharifi’s tar soloist.

This concert, which is called Darvishane, is a performance in the context of Iranian instrumental music, in which Amir Sharifi performs a string solo. This performance, which is organized based on some of Darvish Khan’s wordless compositions, seeks to display this magnificent style by referring to some of the pieces left by this great master in the pages of the Qajar period.

Amir Sharifi says about this concert: This turn is a multi-layered work in which, on the one hand, he witnesses the performance of some of the unique and characteristic features of Darvish Khan’s playing, and on the other hand, he witnesses the presentation of the performer’s interpretation of the pieces left behind by this great master. In addition to Darvish Khan’s works, in order to create diversity in texture and feeling, in connection with Darvish Khan’s pieces, a piece of my own compositions and three ballads of Qajar ballads will also be performed.
