Tashkari Hashemi said: in the city of Aftab, due to the existence of subway lines, the existence of a wide network of roads does not cause any inconvenience to citizens.
The member of the Tehran City Council said: “Upstream documents show that the Government Infrastructure Commission, the Tehran Governor’s Office, the Supreme Traffic Council and all the institutions responsible for this transfer have been instructed and the reopening of its case in the council is due to the traffic problem.” Tehran should be resolved scientifically, and for this purpose, this issue will be presented to the council in future meetings.
Tashkari Hashemi continued: “According to the legal authority, we ask the mayor of Tehran to seal this place by the end of the year so that no exhibition is held in this place next year.”
He explained the reason for the delay in the implementation of this legal duty by the authorities, that its implementation requires the serious will of the authorities, while the capital of 135 hectares of space built in the city of Aftab, which is spent billions of tomans annually to maintain it has been abandoned.
Tashkari Hashemi added: “If the people of the city are to be in trouble in order to compete or protect the interests of a company, the council must deal with this issue decisively.”
He added: “The International Exhibition Company should not make any plans to hold an exhibition in this place for next year, and this space will be given to the municipality as a public space, and the Tehran International Exhibition will be moved to the city of Aftab.” .
