Tehran Medical System: Resigned members are not responsible

According to the Fars news agency’s health department, the Greater Tehran Medical System Organization announced in an announcement:

In response to the questions of some respected members of the educated and medical health community regarding the way of managing the current affairs of the Tehran medical system after the resignation of two respected members of the board of directors, I would like to recall the following items taken from the relevant laws and regulations:

1- Following the resignation of Mr. Dr. Seyed Moeed Alavian and Dr. Mohammad Razi from being members of the board of directors, as well as the president and vice president, from the date of signing, according to the internal regulations, they are not responsible in the medical system from the date of their resignation.

2- The first meeting of the elected Board of Directors of Greater Tehran Medical System was held on 05/19/1400. “The agenda of this meeting was to elect the head, deputy head, secretary and police prosecutor of Tehran Medical System. In the voting to elect the chairman of the board of directors of the Greater Tehran Medical System, Dr. Seyed Moeed Alavian and Dr. Alireza Salimi were nominated, and finally Dr. Seyed Moeed Aloyan was elected as the chairman. Then Mr. Mohammadreza Asadi from among the 3 elected vice presidents; Dr. Fatemeh Khoshnavisan was elected as the first vice president, Dr. Amirpasha Tabaian as the second vice president, and Dr. Babak Adli as the administrative prosecutor.

3- Therefore, it is worth mentioning that until the new chairman of the board of directors is elected, the first vice chairman of the board of directors, Mr. Mohammad Reza Asadi, is in charge of the affairs of the Tehran medical system.

4- We would like to inform all the respected members of the Tehran medical system that according to the existing legal arrangements and the proposed solutions, all the activities of the Tehran medical system are being carried out without a single moment of interruption as before.
