The lock on holding concerts in Yazd and Mashhad was broken

Charso Press: Despite the oppositions that have always existed for holding a concert in Yazd, which was also manifested in this recent Nowruz, “Parvaz Homai”, which has recently been facing controversy, will be held on Friday, May 8th, in the city’s Tarbiat Moalem hall in two sessions 19: 30 and 22:30 goes on stage.

It seems that after Razavi’s Khorasan province, it is Yazd’s turn this time. Because not long ago, Hojjat Ashrafzadeh was able to go on stage in his hometown “Nishabur” and next to that, the “Ummat Mah” festival is going to be held in Mashhad at the same time as Eid al-Fitr.

Domestic and foreign singers are supposed to perform on the stage at the international festival called “Emmat Mah” which will be held from April 29 to May 9 in Mashhad, which can be a confirmation of the lifting of the ban on holding concerts in Mashhad.

Of course, by holding a concert in Neyshabur, it was expected that Mashhad would follow the process of lifting the ban on holding concerts. Now, it should be seen that with these measures to remove the taboo of holding concerts in some cities, to what extent regional conflicts in holding concerts will be reduced?

In any case, with the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the break of several days in holding concerts due to the arrival of Qadr nights, the concerts will once again return to the stage. Music concerts, which were generally stopped during the month of Ramadan, continued to be held this year with the promise made by the Minister of Culture, until a few days before the Qadr nights.

Now that the days of the holy month of Ramadan are over, it seems that music concerts are held more in the cities than in Tehran due to the fact that they coincide with the Eid al-Fitr holidays.
