The head of the Cinema Producers Guild said: “If the meetings of the Cinema Council are held as usual, we will have one meeting every season and four meetings of the Cinema Council every year. I think if a good expert team is placed next to this council.” And examine the issues and the members of the council only decide on the issues in the court, these 4 meetings a year can cause a great change in Iranian cinema.

Hashemi pointed out: If the government can allocate a special place for the “Cinema Council” and consider its approvals at the level of approvals of the Council of Ministers, a bright future awaits the management of Iranian cinema.

Hassan Rouhani was not interested in Iranian culture and art

Regarding the holding of the Supreme Council of Screening in the Eleventh and Twelfth Governments, he clarified: “Because Hassan Rouhani had no interest in the Supreme Council of Cinema, this council did not find any place in the Eleventh and Twelfth Governments.” At that time, only two meetings of the Supreme Cinema Council were held, and those two meetings were also held at the level of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
