The new animated series “Pand Parsi” was made for a child audience

“Rasoul Shiri”, the director and producer of the “Pand Parsi” animated series, said in an interview with a Fars News Agency radio and television reporter: “At the beginning of the production of the” Pand Parsi “animated series, it was planned to make this animation for two groups of children and teenagers. For this purpose, in addition to telling stories based on ancient stories, we tried to include topics related to current issues and some social problems that adolescents face in the way of life and entering society, but because the reflection of such issues for The children’s group was not very suitable and impressive and was not welcomed, so in the construction of the new series of this series, arrangements were made so that the child’s audience could communicate more with Pandparsi, so it was decided that this animation in its new series Produced exclusively for the child audience.
He added: “The most adaptations that have been used in this collection so far have been the use of Saadi’s anecdotes and to some extent Rumi, but in this series of Pand Parsi collections, an attempt has been made to use great literary treasures such as Saadi and Rumi to use the stories of some different nations in a new way. Therefore, the dynamic series of Pand Parsi in his new series will be less of a narrator of adapted stories. However, the writing team of this animation has tried to maintain the instructive and anecdotal form of the work in writing the adventures of Pand Parsi and to narrate spectacular and audible stories faithfully to it.
Shiri continued: “Using satirical topics in this animation, Pandparsi series has succeeded to a large extent in attracting the audience, but in order to be more welcomed, we want to make more humorous narratives, more slang and appropriate to the issues of the day.” Of course, to achieve this, we need appropriate functions based on modern and advanced technologies, because the production of animations with Pand Parsi style and context that have a fast story rhythm and are made in a short time, to attract more audience to use technology. Are up-to-date and special in their construction.
The producer and director continued: The initial intention of this animation was based on a simple literary adaptation based on humorous topics and appropriate to the audience of children and adolescents, so that in turn we can connect today’s generation with ancient Iranian literature and culture. Of course, with the progress of the number of production and distribution episodes, Pars Parsi series was able to reduce this task to some extent from its narratives and pay more attention to the daily problems of children. But this animated series still tries to refer to the anecdotes or poems of the ancient poets of this land and water, in addition to the stories and dialogues exchanged by its characters.
He also continued: “Since it is sometimes seen in Saadi’s humorous anecdotes, the main character resists the advice of the story and the result of this resistance is shown to the reader as the story progresses, so we used this category in making a collection of Persian advice.” And we processed the main character of the story, called Ramazan, in accordance with the person who resists the advice written in Saadi’s anecdotes. Also, in some of his stories, this animation has kept characters like Mollansereddin, but in general, Ramazan, who is one of the main characters of Pand Parsi, is a character who has many similarities in Iranian anecdotes and is more like folk characters than anything else.
Shiri continued: in the production of Pandparsi, an attempt has been made to change the old stories and narratives with excessive exaggeration in the type of narration of its stories, and to present them to the child’s audience in an updated way.
Referring to the most important difference between this animation and other animations, he added: “Fast production and the use of two-dimensional effects, as well as illustration in the narration of the stories of this animation is the most important difference between Pand Parsi and other animations in terms of technique.” This work, which was initially produced in 13 parts, will be very popular and will be upgraded to a new series of 100 parts.
In the end, Shiri said: The initial design of this series was based on the three characters of Ramadan (symbol of experience), donkey (symbol of ignorance) and son (symbol of knowledge). After the production of two series of Persian advice, we changed the process of making this collection by adding several characters, including mother, sister and child, and made it into a family. In such a way that the set took on a more dramatic rhythm, and also by adding the school environment, the teacher and the school children with the names of Paddy, Asi and Timur next to the boy, each of whom was modeled on the school children, we tried to create a space. Create a better way to tell Persian stories.
According to Fars, Pand Parsi is an animated series from Saba Animation Center, directed and produced by Rasoul Shiri, this time trying to narrate stories from ancient literature and nations with a more dramatic rhythm than its previous two series.
