The resistance film started working/ Introducing the films that entered the festival
According to the film reporter of Fars news agency, another round of the international resistance film event has started today, Friday.
The resistance film festival started in 1962 and this year will be its 17th edition. This festival was named after 11 periods with the name of holy defense and since 2009 its name was changed to resistance festival.
The films of this period of the festival are screened in 31 provinces and in 354 places of the country and finally the selected works are introduced. 674 domestic works were received in the main section called “Soleimani Martyr Award” and 291 works were received in the “Generation of Narratives” section, which is related to short works.
In the Holy Defense Award section, 352 works, in the Palestine section with the presence of domestic cinematographers, 149 works reached the secretariat. About 400 screenplays and more than 200 research works reached this year’s festival.
Sardar Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of the IRGC, said at the opening of the resistance film festival: We must constantly strengthen it so that it has a fundamental and reciprocal effect.
More than 50 countries have sent works to the secretariat. More than 300 non-Iranian filmmakers have works in this period and a total of 500 works will be shown.

According to Fars report, the works entered the various sections of the festival, including the selected works of the main section (Martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani Award), the selected works of the Sacred Defense Section (the late Rasool Mullah Qolipour Award), the selected works of the World Without Israel Section (Martyr Emad Mughniyeh Award) The selected works of Narrative Generation section (Martyr Mohsen Hajji Award), the selected works of the Screenplay section (Martyr Seyed Morteza Avini Award) and Vision section (Economic feature films of young filmmakers) are as follows:
