He continued: “Various incidents occurred during this period that required service. In the recent floods in the south of the country, 28 provinces of the country were affected by weather events and 4 provinces were affected by floods.”
The head of the Red Crescent Society, noting that the less privileged people were more affected, added: “As soon as the flood occurred, four of our deputies were sent to the region.”
Kolivand added: “The sympathy and cooperation of the devices in the flood in Chah Bahar area was very good and the largest relief cargo was sent to this area with four planes.”
The head of the Bayan Red Crescent Society, referring to the occurrence of weather accidents in the west of the country this year and the provision of appropriate services to these areas, said: “Logistics is being strengthened and we have an agenda to rebuild and modernize the relief fleet in the new year.” While increasing the number of helicopters is also on the agenda.
Referring to the development of a comprehensive 5-year rescue plan for the country, Kolivand said: “In the Yas project, with the cooperation of the relief committee, women over 30 who have not married yet were trained as Red Crescent volunteers.”
Referring to the plan to reduce social harms, he said: 2200 areas in the country have been identified with the help of other agencies, while various student, medical, medical, etc. centers are active.
The head of the Red Crescent Society, referring to the program of introducing Martyr Qassem Soleimani internationally as a relief and volunteer force, noted: Equipment was created for patients to use.
Referring to financial and livelihood assistance to some needy patients with coronary heart disease, Kolivand stated: “Recruiting and organizing volunteer forces is on the agenda and continuous training will be provided throughout the year.”
Emphasizing the need to increase the number of volunteers in the Red Crescent, he added: “Bringing the corona vaccine was a very good step and the president himself has been very effective in this regard.”
The head of the Red Crescent Society, referring to the provision of volunteer services to needy coronary patients, said: “We participated in Shahid Soleimani’s plan for disease diagnosis, monitoring, etc. Now he has a good role in diagnosing and monitoring the Red Crescent.”
Referring to the activities of Red Crescent houses, Kolivand added: “We have medical centers in 13 countries that we intend to increase.”
Referring to the actions of the Red Crescent in the international arena, he added: “We are a member of the Council of Governors of the Red Cross.”
The head of the Red Crescent Society, referring to the plan to establish a training town for various incidents in the country, said: “This town is supposed to operate internationally, while we intend to establish an observatory to monitor weather conditions and intelligent incident management.”
The head of the Red Crescent Society, referring to the desire of the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross to travel to Iran and his request and eagerness to meet with the Supreme Leader, added: “All our immigrants were vaccinated and all immigrants in Iran study in our schools and universities.”
Referring to the oppressive sanctions of the Red Crescent by the West, Kolivand said: “One of the main policies is bilateral non-cooperation with different countries, and in this direction we have signed memoranda of cooperation with Iraq and Turkey.”
Referring to the Red Crescent’s view of supporting the people, Kolivand said: “In mid-Sha’ban, we planned to establish a vaccination base from the shrine of Imam Masoumeh to the Jamkaran Mosque.”
He continued from the participation of 12,000 relief forces and the participation of 33,000 young and volunteer forces in the Nowruz holiday: “From today, the Red Crescent forces will be ready for Nowruz and the relief program will take place from March 16 to April 6, so that the crescent forces Red is on the agenda to reduce traffic accidents and related measures.
The head of the Red Crescent Society expressed the favorable increase in the Red Crescent budget in 1401: 700 billion tomans were allocated for equipping facilities and charging warehouses, of which 300 billion tomans were transferred to the Red Crescent.
Referring to the contract for the purchase of helicopters from Russia and its non-implementation, Kolyvand continued: “We have plans to purchase a number of helicopters.”
Kolivand announced the Red Crescent’s readiness to import any required medicine at the request of the Ministry of Health.
