The Foreign Assets Control Office of the US Treasury announced in a statement on Thursday that it placed 6 companies related to the Islamic Republic of Iran on its sanctions list.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Treasury, the 6 mentioned companies are based in Iran, UAE, China and Vietnam.

Also, the new round of American sanctions against Iran includes 20 ships in connection with the transportation of petroleum products.
