In the weight category of minus 61 kg, Ukrainian and Greek athletes became finalists, and Mahnaz Hassanzadeh from Iran and a Russian athlete shared third place and won a bronze medal.
In the weight category of minus 68 kg, Sara Adria from Iran and a Ukrainian athlete reached the finals of this competition, and the athletes from Turkey and Russia reached the joint third place.
Also in the overweight category of 68 kg, Bita Javaheri from Iran and a Turkish athlete reached the final of this weight category, and Turkish and Russian karatekas won the joint third place.
According to the report, in the weight category of minus 75 kg, Russian and Ukrainian karatekas advanced to the finals, and Kamran Rezaei, Nejad, and Ebrahim Abdolghafoor from Iran stood on the third platform of the competition and jointly won the bronze medal.
In the weight category of minus 84 kg, Sidyasin Hosseini and the Russian athlete became finalists, and the Malaysian and Russian karatekas took third place in the competition.
Also in the 84 kg weight category, Hossein Tabarteh Farahani from Iran and karateka from Turkey became finalists, and Mostafa Papizadeh from Iran and a Russian athlete won bronze medals.
On the first day of the competition, Mojdeh Mardani, Hakimeh Zakizadeh and Mostafa Hassanpour became finalists, while Zeinab Hassanpour, Milad Sadeghzadeh and Mohammad Shayan won bronze medals.
Today, on the third day of the competitions, the kata competitions and the women’s team committee of the morning and the men’s team competition of the evening will be followed from 3 pm, and tomorrow (Wednesday and the last day) the final competitions will be held.
