According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the General Department of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Headquarters for Promoting Virtue and Prohibiting Virtue, a meeting of cultural deputies of the headquarters for Promoting Virtue and Forbidding Virtue was held for two days at the Mulla Sadra Cultural Complex in Tehran.
This meeting was held with the aim of communicating the policies and approaches of the headquarters of the good and the synergy of the provincial headquarters in order to promote and revive the duties throughout the country and with the presence of the head, secretary and deputies of the headquarters of the good and forbidding the bad.
Hojjatoleslam Siddiqui, the head of the headquarters for enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, stated at the end of the gathering: The issue of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil has dimensions that are among the most humane and progressive social laws in the human world.
He added: “Famous commandment and prohibition of evil from the point of view of the Holy Quran is the only advantage of the Muslim ummah over other ummahs.” These two duties are both attraction and repulsion, which are considered as signs of life. The whole of our society is a body whose defense against dangerous viruses, against atheism, filth and vulgarity is a matter of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.
The head of the headquarters for enjoining the good and forbidding the evil also said: If these two duties do not exist, God will not reveal His victory to society. In Surah Al-Hajj, the Almighty points out that if enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is the defense system of society, and if not, you can not have cultural centers. Thus, the effect of defense is to establish and perpetuate the bases of remembrance of God and the monotheistic and moral bases that build the society. Then he says that God Almighty will surely support those who found governmental power, organizational power, social power, economic power and political authority.
The interim Friday Imam of Tehran continued: If it is not for offering prayers, paying zakat, and enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, God will not help, and woe to a society, woe to an organization, and woe to a person whom God abandons.
Hojjatoleslam Siddiqui added: Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil will awaken the society, it will cause the sensitivity of human beings against the causes of destruction and corruption. One who abandons the commandment of the good and the prohibition of the bad has written about his membership in the great family of human society. If the body is alive, everyone reacts to the corruption of a pain in one organ, and to strengthen that part of the body, they help each other to nourish and breathe. Therefore, the famous commandment and the prohibition of denial is both a sign of the survival of the society and a connection between the members of the society.
The head of the headquarters for enjoining the good and emphasizing: enjoining the good and forbidding the evil unite the whole society. In the Holy Qur’an, our narrations mention the commandment of the good over the prohibition of the evil everywhere. This shows that if we highlight our goodness, we can show our goodness in the form of a beautiful picture, the ground of denial will disappear automatically. So if there is denial, it is because the celebrities have been weakened. The abode of the pub is our destruction, if we are prosperous, if we are strong, if we start marriage in society, there will be no moral denial. Because marriage is not considered important and its importance has decreased among young people, corruption is prevalent in society. It is the same in all matters.
He added: What is theft, prostitution and smuggling of the disabled? It is the result of unemployment. If we come, we will encourage the society to produce and employ the youth, when employment and production come, theft will disappear, prostitution will disappear, trafficking will disappear, addiction will disappear.
