According to Fars news agency, a part of Imamzade Suleiman Alborz was destroyed due to unethical excavation on a holiday.
During this destruction, the supervisor of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Alborz Province was not present at the site.
The General Department of Endowments and Charitable Affairs of Alborz Province has made the necessary arrangements for the protection and stabilization of the said building and has committed to take necessary and preliminary measures for the immediate restoration of Imamzadeh Suleiman with the supervision of the General Department of Cultural Heritage of Alborz Province.
The problem created for Imamzade Suleiman in one of the walls during the excavation around the building, which was being done for the purpose of strengthening, was created due to the presence of holes and non-original restoration in the past, and the restoration is supposed to start quickly.
