Sending a text message to Rahvar police to 3,500 speeding drivers


According to the disciplinary correspondent of Fars News Agency, Col. Seyed Abolfazl Mousavipour, the deputy of Tehran’s Rahvar police, announced the continuation of the speed control station in Tehran and sending text messages to more than 3,500 high-speed drivers since the beginning of the year.

The deputy of the capital’s traffic police stated that the activity of the speed control station in the Greater Tehran traffic police continues and text messages are sent to high-risk drivers. The head of the center, the speed control station, continues its activities.

He said: the legislator has divided the speed into three parts, some of which are speeds up to 30 km more than the allowable limit, and the other part is 30 km to 50 km higher than the allowable limit, and the third part is speeds above 50 km per hour. The police check and control speeds above 50 kilometers per hour.

Colonel Mousavipour stated: The violation recording camera records all unauthorized speeds and my colleagues send messages to the owners of vehicles with speeds above 50 km above the allowed speed.

He said: for the first and second time, the presence of offending drivers in the police training classes is necessary and the issue of justification, training, law enforcement and payment of crimes is raised, and if these violations reach the third time, according to Article 618 of the Islamic Penal Code, this violation will be violated. The order is considered and the case is handed over to the judicial authorities.

Rahvar Paytakht police deputy stated: SMS has been sent to more than 3,500 drivers since the beginning of this year, and we hope that by respecting the law and reducing speeds by drivers, we will not witness tragic accidents on the roads of Tehran.
