According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Maskani said in a gathering of cooperatives in North Khorasan on Saturday afternoon: 25% of the economy should be achieved in the cooperative sector and cooperative companies, but this has not been achieved.

The Deputy of Cooperative Affairs of the Ministry of Labor said: In this field, the necessary support should be given to cooperative companies.

He added: According to the latest estimates, the share of cooperatives in the economy is only 4.6%, but we are trying to increase the share of cooperatives in the economy by one percent annually by supporting the cooperatives.

Maskani stated: We must use all capacities for the development of cooperatives.

Referring to the attention of the system and the government to the less privileged areas, he said: The development of villages should take place while maintaining the function and mission of these areas.

He clarified: Now we are witnessing that the village provides its meat or bread and protein materials from the city, while the village is known as the place of production.
