According to Mehr news agency, the US Treasury announced new sanctions against people related to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
In the statement issued on the website of the US Department of Treasury, it is stated that the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions against several persons affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran and the Quds Force of the IRGC under false pretenses and without Iran’s attempt to assassinate former Washington government officials, US dual citizens and Iranian dissidents has been documented.
According to the announcement of this American organization, 5 people and a company related to Iran have been sanctioned.
Sanctioned are 3 persons and a company related to IRGC Quds Force as well as 2 senior officials of IRGC Intelligence Organization.
