According to the Fars News Agency’s urban group, the Minister of Sports and Youth, Seyed Hamid Sajjadi, visited the Jahan Pahlavan Takhti Sports Complex in Tehran, located in District 14.
During the visit, which was attended by the governor of Tehran and the mayor of District 14, Sajjadi named the Jahan Pahlavan Takhti sports complex as a national asset with special structures that need to be preserved as one of the oldest sports complexes.
The revival of this sports complex in accordance with the comprehensive plan of sports facilities and the provision of appropriate funding were among the items emphasized by the President’s representative during the visit and in talks with officials.
Mohammad Omid Salaripour, the mayor of District 14, also emphasized on preparing a document for the development of green space and increasing interaction and cooperation for the development and prosperity of this complex and increasing the per capita green space in East Tehran.
Referring to the importance of the prosperity of public sports, Salaripour said that equipping and developing this complex by using the capacities between us is fruitful in the prosperity of public sports.
Accelerating the solution of problems and solutions for the reconstruction of the sports complex and the reconstruction of the Tartan land, the construction of beach lands, the establishment of a specialized sports camp, the establishment of a family sports complex and the construction of a special place for women’s sports were among the issues reviewed by the Minister of Sports and Youth. It is worth mentioning that Takhti Stadium in Tehran is one of the largest stadiums in Tehran and of course in Iran, which is located in the east of Region 14, and has seen many football matches over the years.
