Traffic arrangements for the farewell ceremony with the pure bodies of the newly exhumed martyrs of the shrine defenders

According to the Fars News Agency reporter, Sardar Mohammad Hossein Hamidi announced the traffic arrangements on Thursday for the farewell ceremony with the newly exhumed martyrs of the shrine defenders at the venue of this ceremony.

He said: “It has been a double blessing for my servant and my colleagues in the traffic police of Tehran, that this farewell coincided with the days of mourning for the martyrs of Aba Abdallah al-Hussein (a.s.) and his illustrious companions, who gave us the honor that Let us serve the family of innocence and purity and the rosy martyrs of the dear Islamic homeland.

The head of the Greater Tehran Traffic Police said: The farewell ceremony for the newly exhumed martyrs of the shrine defenders started on Thursday at 18:00 in Imam Hossein Square and will continue until Maghrib and Isha prayers.

Sardar Hamidi added: After the end of Maghrib and Isha prayers, these bodies will not be moved so that there will be enough time for those who want to say goodbye to these loved ones.

Sardar Hamidi referred to traffic restrictions and stops from 4:30 p.m. and said: “Englabal Street from Chobi Bridge to Imam Hossein (A.S.) Square, Damavand Street from Imam Ali (A.S.) Bridge to Imam Hossein (A.S.) Square, and We will have traffic and stop restrictions on Shahrivar 17th Street, between Imam Hossein (AS) Square and Shahada Square.

He asked the visitors who intend to participate in this ceremony to refrain from using private cars and use the public transport fleet due to the two subway stations of Shahada Square and Imam Hossein (AS) metro station that exist on this route. Also, special arrangements have been made to increase the number of buses of the single company to facilitate the movement of the participants in this ceremony on the BRT route of the Tehran-Pars-Azadi route.
