10 recovered addicts were employed by Zahedan entrepreneur



In an interview with IRNA on Monday, Omid Aramesh said: “With the efforts of the General Directorate of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, the Anti-Narcotics Coordination Council and the General Directorate of Welfare of Sistan and Baluchestan, the employment of improved addicts is seriously on the agenda.” In the early days of this year, 10 recovering addicts were employed by an entrepreneur in Zahedan.
He added: “Considering the important role of job creation in preventing people from returning to drug use, creating job opportunities and the efforts of entrepreneurs and employers to employ improved addicts to prevent them from returning to the cycle of addiction is very key.”
The head of the General Directorate of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of Sistan and Baluchestan, emphasizing that we should not leave the recovering addicts alone, said: “Some of these people have skills that they can use and production workshops are needed for such people.” To be launched.
He said: “The government supports the establishment of such workshops by providing the necessary facilities and incentives, and we must use the participation of the people, charities and non-governmental organizations in this regard.”
Aramesh stated: The Welfare Organization has already provided incentives for employers in case of attracting and employing improved addicts.

He stressed: “We must promote social culture in different sections of society and the family to accept the improved, because we are all responsible for the issue of social responsibility.”
