The two rehabilitation centers “South Kerman” and “Shahid Fayyazbakhsh” in Kerman have a total of about 200 staff and disabled people, and the monthly maintenance cost of these centers is about 5 billion rials. This cost is funded by the Yas Charity Foundation in cooperation with holdings and companies affiliated with the Tourism Finance Group.
In these centers, in addition to caring for the mentally and physically disabled, other services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, technical orthopedics, psychology, paramedics and specialist physicians are provided full-time under the supervision of instructors and experts.
Empowerment of women, including women heads of households, is another service provided by the Yas Foundation. This year, women heads of households have been sent to the holy city of Mashhad at the expense of the foundation. In addition, with the cooperation of the Yas Foundation, about 50 women heads of households have been empowered and employed, and have also been covered by health insurance. D) Construction of the largest technical and professional empowerment complex and training program for 5,000 prisoners with the aim of creating employment
With the support of Tourism Bank, the largest technical and professional empowerment complex in Kerman has been built and commissioned. This complex has been established in Kerman with 20 specialized workshops, including 12 educational workshops and 8 production workshops with an area of ​​6,000 square meters, and currently 20 workshops are active in it.
By launching the mentioned workshops in cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Education Organization, the field of training a specialized job and profession has been provided for those who take these courses. So far, several training courses have been held in this empowerment complex, and those who have passed these courses have succeeded in obtaining the relevant specialized degree and are working.
The purpose of building a professional empowerment complex is to provide vocational training for drug prisoners in Kerman, as well as to help create employment and support the families of prisoners. It is estimated that about 5,000 people will be employed after completing the specialized training courses.
E) Distribution of livelihood packages among the needy
Since the corona outbreak, the foundation has helped provide medical facilities and hospital equipment in various provinces and has distributed more than 20,000 livelihood packages to those in need.
