According to IRNA; The 2021 Asian Karate Championship in all age categories (teenagers, youth, hope and adults) in 2 categories of kata and committee started yesterday (Saturday) hosted by Almaty, Kazakhstan, and our country’s representatives faced their opponents.

Today, Sunday, the Omid Sunni Cathars and the Youth Sunni Committee went on the tatami, where the Iranian delegation won 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.

Hadith Jamal won the final match of “Lia Kesharbayeva” from Kazakhstan and deservedly won the gold medal.

In the 61-kg weight class, Amir Hossein Bemanzadeh, who had qualified for the classification with a victory and a defeat, lost 2-1 to Altin Beck of Kazakhstan and missed out on a medal.

In the 68-kg weight class, Amir Reza Borzoi defeated Kuwait and lost to Kazakhstan in the qualifying round, defeating Jordan’s Bashir al-Farwi 3-0 to win a bronze medal.

In the 76-kg weight category, Saeed Al-Hayari lost to “Mohammad Al-Amiri” from the UAE in a classification fight with a score of 5: 0 and left the competition empty-handed.

In the 76 + kg weight category, Abolfazl Nouri, who had qualified with a victory and a defeat, also lost 6-4 to Omar al-Bakhit of Saudi Arabia to avoid winning a medal.

Youth Girls Committee

In the 53-kg weight class, Satyesh Naderi first defeated Jordan and Hong Kong, but lost to Kazakhstan’s Bella Samashiva 1-0 in the final to win silver.

In the 48-kg weight category, Yalda Naghi Biranvand, who had competed in the standings with a victory over Kazakhstan and a loss to Kyrgyzstan, defeated Farham Al-Wayati of Indonesia 7-3 to win the bronze medal.

In the 59-kg weight class, Fatemeh Badaq advanced to the final with victories over opponents from Kyrgyzstan, Cambodia and Hong Kong. In the final, she defeated Kazakhstan’s Gina Arestova 9-0 to win the gold medal.

In the +59kg category, Sarina Fathi, who advanced to the finals with a victory over Kyrgyzstan and Jordan, won the gold medal in the final bout against Salva al-Mansouri of the UAE and won gold.

On the first day, the Iranian team won 10 colorful medals (6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze).
