700% increase in job creation facilities to the relief committee

According to monetary financial news, Hojjatollah Mehdian, CEO of the Cooperative Development Bank, while attending the “Employment of the Deprived” program, which was held on the eve of Arbaeen Hosseini, said: “We have been actively involved in employment since 2016 and support institutions such as Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and Welfare Organization were given priority in paying for job creation facilities.
Hojjatollah Mehdian added: From 1995 to 1998, the amount of job creation facilities for the relief committee’s clients reached 100 billion Tomans.
He continued: “Since 1996, we have witnessed a major leap in the payment of job creation facilities by the Cooperative Development Bank, and the amount of job creation facilities to the clients of Imam Khomeini Relief Committee reached 800 billion tomans with a significant growth.”
He said that the Cooperative Development Bank has been introduced as an “employment helper” by the Central Bank, adding: “This year, we have a commitment to provide 500 billion tomans of job creation facilities to the clients of the Imam Relief Committee.”
Mahdian, stating that job creation in the country requires jihadi work, added: Cooperative Development Bank, as the youngest state-owned bank since 1997 as the operating bank in the rural and nomadic sustainable employment plan has taken important steps.
He announced: in the fourth phase of this project, 26 thousand billion Rials have been paid for the employment of the villagers and dear nomads of the country and the amount of commitment of the Cooperative Development Bank is 40 thousand billion Rials.
The CEO of Cooperative Development Bank, stating that granting facilities to producers and entrepreneurs is one of the priorities of this financial institution, said: “Since the beginning of this year, 10 thousand billion tomans of facilities have been paid to production and entrepreneurship projects and by the end of the year this figure will reach 25.” It reaches one thousand billion tomans.
