According to an IRNA report from the National Federation of University Sports on Sunday, the selection competitions of the Pumseh team of male and female students were held in cooperation with the Taekwondo Federation in order to identify the best individuals to participate in the 31st World Student Universiade.
The Technical Committee of the University Sports and Taekwondo Federation, after reviewing the submitted films, introduced the top eight students in the two sections of student girls and boys and invited them to the second stage of the selection camp.
Seyed Ali Mosinia, Hamid Reza Hatami, Mohammad Javad Kheiri and Ahmad Mansouri in the boys section and Reyhaneh Omrani, Moghaddam, Fatemeh Sotoudeh, Tara Mardani and Rana Shahin are also invited in the girls section.
According to the decision of the technical committee of these eight people, in the second selection stage, they are going to compete with the medalists of the 2019 Universiade, the medalists of the Asian Championship in 2020 and 2021, to attend the training camp and be sent to the Chinese Universiade.
The 31st Summer Universiade of World Students will be held from July 5 to 16, 1401 in Chengdu, China, and the sports convoy of Iranian students in 5 disciplines will participate in these games.
