A national memorandum of understanding was signed between the Cooperative Development Bank and the National Environmental Fund

The head of the Cooperative Development Bank, referring to the importance of environmental projects in the bank’s programs, said: “Supporting these projects and allocating resources to activities with an environmental approach can be considered among the main strategies of the bank.”
Sheikh Hosseini described the mutual understanding between the bank and the fund as an important and valuable event and said: the bank, as a mediator between funds and resource management towards productive and value-creating activities, will create a situation with synergy by implementing this memorandum. Between the two systems, it is possible to fulfill the duties of the parties and fulfill social responsibilities.
Sajjad Anjum Shoaa, CEO of the National Environment Fund, said: “The emergence of various environmental issues in the world and the country requires that many policies and measures in this area be implemented.” In this regard, he added: the lack of effective resources and the lack of mechanisms, had caused the activity of this fund was not as expected.

This memorandum has been compiled as a practical document with a precise statement of processes and details with the agreement of the two agencies.
Seyed Baqer Fattahi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Development Bank, said: “This bank has always tried to implement the agreements and agency agreements concluded so that the obligations are fulfilled 100% and the goals and positive social and economic effects of the agreements are appropriate.” To be realized.

Fattahi pointed out: Joint working groups will be formed to review the status and progress of the implementation stages of the MoU, and with agile and effective mechanisms and processes, this MoU will be implemented in an efficient way.

The meeting was attended by board members, Hamid Reza Alborzi, director of credit affairs, Ahmad Mohammadi, director of provincial and branch affairs, Younes Kalantari, head of the General Department of Customer Affairs and Market Development, and managers of the National Environment Fund.
