According to the Mehr correspondent, the Saudi Al-Riyadh newspaper, referring to today’s match between the Iranian Persepolis and Al-Hilal Saudi football teams in the Asian Champions League, wrote:
“Al-Hilal’s match against Persepolis is a ‘classic’ of West Asia because both teams have been among the best in West Asia in recent years. Al-Hilal or Persepolis have been in the semi-finals in the last four seasons; “Al-Hilal participated in the semi-finals of 2017 and 2019, and Persepolis reached the semi-finals in 2018 and 2020.”
The football teams of Iran’s Persepolis and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal will face each other in the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League from 21:30 today, Saturday. The game will be held at the Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, and the winner will advance to the semi-finals.
