Alvez’s contradictory statements about his accusations/the plaintiff in the case does not want compensation

According to Tasnim news agency, last night (Saturday) was the second night that Dani Alves spent in detention since his arrest on charges of raping a Spanish woman on the last day of 2022.

According to the order of the judge of the case, Alves, who was arrested for assaulting a 23-year-old woman in a night club in the city of Barcelona, must remain in prison until his trial.

Since his arrest, the 39-year-old Brazilian player has made three different claims about the accusation attributed to him.

According to a report by Catalonia’s TV3 channel, Alves, who at first completely denied seeing the victim and insisted that he did not know such a person at all, said in his second interrogation session that he had seen the woman but that nothing had happened between them. Finally, in the third stage of interrogation, the former right defender of Barcelona violated his previous statements and said that it was the victim who went towards him.

In another segment, Catalan TV reported the brazilian player’s completely self-righteous behavior during the interrogation and his confidence that he would be acquitted in front of the judge handling his case.

In the meantime, Spain’s Pais publication has written, citing the statements of some knowledgeable sources, that the plaintiff in the case is not willing to receive compensation from Alves and wants him to be punished by serving prison time.

It is said that Alvez will be imprisoned for between 4 and 12 years if convicted of sexual assault.
