Announcing Djokovic’s 2 main goals for the end of the season and continuing the invincibility of the Serbian star

According to Fars news agency, Novak Djokovic is determined to finish the 2023 tennis season on a high, and this peak will most likely include him going undefeated in the final weeks.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion won his sixth title of the year by defeating Grigor Dimitrov in the Paris Masters final on Sunday, making it his 40th 1,000-point Masters title.

With the win, Djokovic took his win-loss record to 51-5 in 2023 and, incredibly, hasn’t lost a match since Carlos Alcaraz stunned him in the Wimbledon final.

Since then the world number one has won 17 matches in a row. He hopes to continue this unbeaten streak in the final 2 events of his season.

Djokovic stated his end-of-season goals: “I think I need one more win to become world number one, that’s my main goal apart from the Davis Cup.

He added: “In the next few days, I will put the racket aside and spend time with my family to recharge.” Then I will go to Turin, where every match will be like the final of a big tournament.

The number one tennis player in the world stated: I will come with good feelings and a lot of confidence. I haven’t lost a match since the Wimbledon final, so I’m hoping to finish the season on a high. Finishing the year or the number one man title and the Davis Cup are my main goals.
