Armaghani: We are going to the field to win against Jordan

According to IRNA, Saeed Armaghani added in an interview on Tuesday: “With the promotion of the Jordanian team to the quarter-finals of the Asia Cup, we have to go to the field against this team and we want to win this match with fighting spirit.”

He continued: Jordan defeated Chinese Taipei in a close game and became Iran’s opponent. We are ready for this game and we had a good practice today. We prepared the team tactically as much as possible and we want to win this game.

Armaghani reminded: I hope tomorrow we will be mentally, psychologically, tactically and physically ready and be able to present a good game. Of course, Jordan is a very good team and uses experienced players, and they will surely fight against us to win. But our team is also a very good team, and I hope our fight will overcome them and we will win the field.

With the end of the group stage of this tournament, the teams of Australia, Korea, Iran and Lebanon advanced as the top teams.

The match between the national basketball teams of Iran and Jordan will be held on Saturday, the first of August.
