On the first day of this competition, taekwondo athletes weighing 33-, 41-, 49-, 57-, and 65 kg in the boys’ division, and 29-, 37-, 44-, 51-, and 59 kg in the girls’ division faced the competitors, 6 representatives of Iran. They won gold, one representative won silver, and Baran Jamal Livani won bronze in the girls’ group.
Parnian Nouri, who recently won a gold medal in the Sofia World Championship, won his second gold medal this time in the Asian Plain. In the weight of -44 kg, he defeated “Ashwari Sona One” from India in 2 rounds in the first round and won against “Ngu Tai” from Vietnam in 2 rounds in the quarter round and was the opponent of Mobina Babasadidova from Uzbekistan and while winning With a result of 2-1, he went to the finals and won the gold medal by defeating Yunseo Kim from South Korea.
Saina Alipour, the world champion in the 2022 Sofia junior competition in the weight-51 kg, defeated “Akhanim” from Kazakhstan 5:3 and 8:2 in the quarter round and reached the semi-final stage. At this stage, he won against “Man Lu Cho” from China Taiche in the first round 16:3 and in the second round 11:6. Fatemeh Eskandernia in the weight of -59 kg first beat “Pernbek” from Kazakhstan in 2 rounds; He defeated 12-0 and then to advance to the finals, he faced “Sai Rava Ranpo” from India and won 12-0 and 15-1 and qualified for the finals. In the final stage, our country’s -59 kg national team won the gold by winning 2 rounds against “Jung Kaen” from South Korea.
Amir Mohammad Nasir Ahmadi in the weight of -41 kg; In the first round, he defeated “Sultanbek Tashpolatov” from Uzbekistan in 2 rounds, and then he faced “Hu Su” from Hong Kong and beat him 2-0. In the semi-final stage, he fought with “Rodan Sinokbojan” from the Philippines and while winning 2 rounds in this stage, he won the final match against “Taskin” from Kazakhstan and won the gold medal in the -41 kg weight.
Mohammad Hossein Taqipour also won in the weight of -57 kg, in the first round, he won 16:4 and 10:7 against Chao Kwang from Chinese Taipei, and he faced Kang Wong from South Korea in the semi-final stage and won 6:6 in 2 rounds. He won zero and 6-1 and won the gold medal in the final against “Darian Zenish” from Kazakhstan 2-1.
In the 65-kg weight category, Sasan Darzi first fought with “Ali Dabisov” from Kazakhstan and won 2:0, then in the semi-final stage he fought with Jae Yun Lee from South Korea and won 6:0 and 20:9. He won the final against “Akhadjun” from Uzbekistan and won the gold medal.
Nima Abdallahi met “Riyato Kawai” from Japan in the quarter-final weight of 33 kg and won both rounds. In the semi-final stage, he won 15-1 and 7-3 times against “Fe Long” from the host country and advanced to the finals of his weight. In the end, despite his merit, he settled for the silver medal by losing the result against “Samatoli” from Kazakhstan.
Baran Jamal Liwani, weighing 29 kg, won the first match against “Gin Song” from South Korea with the results of 11:7 in the first round and 7:0 in the second round and reached the semi-final match.
