According to IRNA Tuesday night, the Asian Boxing Championship 2022 started today in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
On the first day of these competitions, Mustafa Rigi in 51 kg and Moslem Maghsoudi in 71 kg were the representatives of our country.
In the first step, Muslim Maqsoudi faced “Gasem Rajab” from Palestine and won 5-0 and went to the next stage. In the next stage, Maqsoodi will have to fight with “Rostembek Olu Nuruddin”.
Mustafa Rigi represented Iran in the 51 kg weight class, and in the first round, he faced “Titithan Panmut” from Thailand, the 2018 World Youth Champion, and gave up the result to close his case in the Asian competitions.
The Iranian team is led by Alireza Astaki, and Gholamreza Karimi, Homayun Amiri, Jassim Delavari, Shahram Fateh and Daniyal Timaji accompany him as coaches.
