Award of 2 world and Asian medals of Islamshahr athletes to Astan Quds Razavi



According to an IRNA report from the Islamshahr Sports Public Relations on Sunday, two world and Asian medals were awarded to Astan Quds Razavi during a glorious ceremony by the Islamshahr Youth and Sports Department in the presence of the servants of Imam Reza’s court.

Payam-e-Nazar in this ceremony, stating that sport requires recourse and relying on bravery and maintaining the heroic spirit, said: The symbolic performance of awarding medals, 2 medals of good athletes of this city to Astan Quds Razavi identifies spirituality in sports.

Farid Haghighi, the holder of the first medal in the history of individual kata in Iran, and Mobina Nedayi, the holder of the medal in the West Asian Badminton Tournament, presented their medals to Astan Quds.

Also present at the ceremony were Asghari, head of the Razavi Service Center, heads of the city’s sports delegations, Mustafa Karimi, director of the national judo teams, Nowruzi, director of the Mihan Cultural and Sports Institute, Hourzadeh, a member of the city council, and staff of the Sports and Youth Department.

According to this report, the ceremony was held with the participation of the Razavi Service Center, and in the spiritual atmosphere, by reciting the Nativity and playing pictures and clips of the Razavi shrine, the servants of Imam Reza blessed the ceremony and the space with the flag of the shrine.
