According to Mehr reporter, after the country’s freestyle wrestling competitions were held and the top players were determined, the freestyle wrestlers who won the Takhti Cup quota were also determined. In this way, the top 6 wrestlers in each weight of the country’s championships got the quota to participate in the Takhti Cup, which must appear in this international arena in May of next year.

Takhti Cup quotas including the first and second placers as well as the joint third and fifth placers (6 people in each weight) went to the contenders.

This is while the contenders and title holders such as Reza Atari in 61 kilos, Rahman Amozad in 65 kilos, Amir Mohammad Yazdani in 70 kilos, Yunus Emami in 74 kilos, Mohammad Nakhodi and Ali Sawadkohi in 79 kilos, Hassan Yazdani in 86 kilos, Kamran Qasimpour In 92 kg, Amir Ali Azarpira in 97 kg and Amir Hossein Zare in 125 kg were exempted from participating in the national championship.
