Bahrami: The election shakes the hand of the head coach; I have high hopes for karate girls

“Leila Bahrami” Regarding the situation of Iranian karate girls who are preparing to participate in the Asian Championships in Kazakhstan, he told IRNA: “Now karatekas are not comparable to the first day they entered the camp and have made significant progress.”

He added: “Jordanian karate girls are highly motivated and therefore try to prepare themselves to the limit and adapt to the conditions.”

“When we started the camps, we had a separate plan for each karateka to address the weaknesses,” Bahrami said. We did not have much time, so we combined technique, strength, aerobic and tactical training exercises with proper design.

“Our Iranian team will most likely leave for Kazakhstan on the 23rd of this month to participate in the Asian Championships,” he said. “Yesterday, our third camp in Tehran ended.” We want the final camp to be attached to the deployment, so we will have two short-term camps so that karatekas can meet their families because the athletes in this age group are very emotional.

The head coach of Iran’s youth and youth karate teams said: “Certainly, these people are the future makers of Iranian karate and they will have a lot to say.”

In response to the question why there are always a lot of margins for the technical staff of national teams after the qualifying competitions in karate, he said: “I think the success and benefit of a team is most important for the coach.” So the coach never wants to bring in someone who can not succeed.

Bahrami said: “Referees often shake the hand of the coach.” You see, the first day that adolescent and young karateka chooses, he is more likely to lose because he does not know the right way to fight at this level; But the same athlete has a high ability that with training and camping can become a reliable nut. It is the coach who determines whether a player has the ability or not; But the selection process, which is in the opinion of the judges, closes the hands of the technical staff.

He said: “Many times during my time in the technical staff, I announced that I do not want a choice, but they say it will be marginalized. Now the president of the Karate Federation has announced that we must have a way of selecting individuals that takes into account all aspects and becomes a law, which is good.

Bahrami stated: the hand of the technical staff should be open to select the player, because in the end, the head coach and the coach are responsible for the performance of their team.

In the end, she announced the composition of the Iranian girls’ team for the Asian Championships as follows
