According to IRNA, the Asian Junior Boxing Championship started this evening (Wednesday) in the Jordanian city of Amman, and Mehdi Kazemi, the representative of our country’s 48 kg youth boxing team, went to the ring.
In his first fight, Mehdi Kazemi went against “Justin Garcero Valrero” from the Philippines and succeeded in defeating his opponent by presenting a spectacular fight.
Kazemi will face Daniyarov Tamirkhan of Kyrgyzstan in the next round.
Our national boxing team with 7 representatives in the youth and 6 boxers in the youth section are participating in these competitions.
Reza Mehdipour is the head coach of Iran’s national youth and youth boxing teams as the head coach, Morteza Sepahvandi, Mehdi Tolouti and Mohammad Mehdipour as the coach.
These competitions will continue until March 14th.
