CEO of Esteghlal Khuzestan: We didn’t even think about exchanging Aghayipour with Bahui

Omid Ali Najafi told the sports reporter of Tasnim news agency about the offer of Persepolis club to recruit Javad Aghaeipour and the possibility of exchanging him with one of the Persepolis players: An offer was made unofficially and they offered us Nabil Bahoui, which we did not think about at all! They (Perspolis Club) are not going to select a player for us to attract Aghaeipour.

He said about the possibility of rejection of Esteghlal Khuzestan’s offer of 30 billion tomans for the sale of Aghaeipour: If a player is to be exchanged for Aghaeipour, the head coach of the team should present the list of players he wants to exchange so that one or two people are selected from it. Not that they talk to us about a player they put on their surplus list. If there is another request and option for the transfer of Aghaeipour, it should be presented so that we can negotiate about it; Not to play with the names of the players.

The CEO of Esteghlal Khuzestan noted about the status of other players of this club’s football team in the winter transfers: it was not only Aghaeipour who received an offer, and six players of Esteghlal Khuzestan have received the attention of other teams. We warned friends (managers of other clubs) or intermediaries who unethically and unprofessionally contact players under our contract.

Najafi, in response to the question whether Persepolis club has directly negotiated with Aghaeipour, stated: Unfortunately, Persepolis has also done such a thing. In order to create peace in the independence of Khuzestan, we remain silent about this issue, but we expect other clubs to pay attention to these matters.

Regarding whether Esteghlal Club of Khuzestan has reached an agreement with a player to sign a contract or not, he said: We negotiate with the clubs of the players we are interested in and we want to be professional. I think the decision of these clubs will be finalized by Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
