He said about the conditions of freestyle wrestling: “Working in freestyle wrestling is difficult, our three weights did not succeed in getting the Olympic quota, and we must be able to get the remaining three quotas in the first place.” Russian wrestlers were away from sports fields for two years, but from now on they are participating in competitions. The US wrestling team is getting better and better every day and that makes it tough for all of us. But our wrestlers work hard and we try too.
Gudarzi said about Hasan Yazdani’s condition: In any case, the injured shoulder should be treated and he should go through the recovery period. We have to see under what conditions Yazdani will return to the field after the end of his recovery period. I think Hassan Yazdani’s wrestling is very different from the world and he can return to the field with a few months of training. His toughest opponent is the American David Taylor, and with a few months of training, he can handle the rest of the opponents.
He said: “I am currently in charge of the youth of the province and participate in the national championships.” It’s not like I’m helping here but ignoring the national team. Whenever the senior national team needs my help, I will not hesitate.
